When you submit one of the forms on this site (consult request, condo appraisal request, newsletter signup, property-alert signup, or guide download), we collect the information you provide. This typically includes your name, email address, phone number (when offered), and any details you choose to share about your property or search.

Information collected automatically

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information including your IP address (truncated/anonymized), device and browser type, pages visited, time on page, and referring source. This data is processed by Google LLC in the United States and other countries where Google operates. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising personalization or to identify individual visitors.

You can opt out of Google Analytics at any time by installing Google’s browser opt-out add-on, by blocking analytics cookies in your browser, or by using a privacy-focused browser or extension.

How we use your information

• To respond to your request and send you a confirmation email.
• To provide the report, guide, or alert you signed up for.
• To follow up on consultations, appraisals, and active transactions.
• To improve the site and the content we publish.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We do not use your information for advertising on third-party platforms.

Where your information is stored

Form submissions are stored in our customer-relationship system and used by Elliott Macgregor and staff working under his supervision in the course of providing real-estate services. Transactional emails are sent through standard email service providers. Aggregate analytics data is held by Google as described above.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA you have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, withdraw consent at any time, and request deletion of your information (subject to any legal retention requirements that apply to real-estate transactions in Ontario).

Cookies

This site uses cookies for two purposes: (1) basic site function, and (2) Google Analytics as described above. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or cross-site advertising tags. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; basic site function will continue to work.

Children

This site is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
